PYOMETRA

. We cannot stress how important spaying is..., A rescue that we know may have very well saved a dog's life from her spay surgery, as she had Pyometra (infection of the uterus). Had the infection ruptured in her body, she may have very well died. There are just SO many benefits to spaying and the most benefits are reaped if done BEFORE their first heat (which is typically 6 months for female dogs).
