UDATE
Yesterday was one week ago that the yorkies came in to our rescue.. Its been a very  rewarding experience    These once so quiet pups have found their voice.. One so much he barks  all night!!    Charles loves being held so much  that he leans into you while you're holding him.     Every time  we give Lucy her eye medication, she gives you a kiss on the face, as if to say thank you ....

Sweet Pea realizes we are safe and she comes to greet us .. Toby is starting to become a little energizer bunny .  And the list goes on...  Today my five walked out the door with the rest of the pack  as I was letting them all go for free play... They move as a pack, Lucy and Sweet Pea being the females, watch over the boys..  They never had that chance with their own puppies  since they were taking away as soon as they started to eat solids..
They are fantastic Mothers..  They lead the boys out to a new world.  It was  real joy to watch as they checked out every inch of the front porch.   This gang is very smart too.   I have them floor level  with the other dogs  so that  they'll get used to them as they go by to head out doors and come back in for crate training.

Each Dog in rescue goes into the same crate every day.  When they go in the correct  crate they get a treat..   Tonight , when we started to go in, the boys went into a crate and waited for  treat. They had been watching the other dogs for the past week and figured out what to do to get a treat. AMAZING!!!!!!!

They still flinch when you pick them up but quickly realize its OK. Pete hasn't learned to trust yet, but we're working on that and he's coming around slow but sure...

Monday the gang goes to be altered..   Carbondale Vet Hospital  agreed to do the whole gang together, as well as all the dental work and cleaning.   5 are ready for adoption.   The adoption fee is 200.00 to help cover all of our expenses.    Check out Pet Finder for  each dog and their updated  personal Bios
